The first true low-energy house

In Donja Stubica, the first true low-energy house has been commissioned, using free earth energy based on the principle of a geothermal heat pump for heating, and free solar energy for heating domestic water via solar panels.
BUILDING INFORMATION:
– DETACHED FAMILY HOUSE WITH A LIVING AREA OF 150 m²
– LOW-ENERGY BUILDING OF “A” ENERGY CLASS 25 kWh/m²
– INSTALLED HEATING AND DOMESTIC WATER SYSTEM: HEAT PUMP VIESSMANN VITOCAL 242-G
– SOLAR SYSTEM VIESSMANN VITOSOL 200-F
– PRIMARY SOURCE: 750 m² of land / 500 m of pipe distribution laid / depth 1.3 m
– SECONDARY: Underfloor heating / 1200 m of pipes
The construction of the building lasted a little over 12 months. The highest quality materials for low-energy houses were used. Building such a house requires a team of experts consisting of an ARCHITECT, ENGINEERS WHO CALCULATE THE SYSTEMS, and MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN CONSTRUCTION. The uniqueness of this building is the result of the harmony of the top professional team of the company Vodolim.
COSTS
HEATING OF THE BUILDING (100%): 78% ENERGY FROM THE EARTH, FREE
22% ELECTRICAL ENERGY (compressor operation) = 200.00 kn PER MONTH
HEATING OF DOMESTIC WATER (100%): 70% ENERGY FROM THE SUN, FREE
30% ELECTRICAL ENERGY (additional heating) = 50.00 kn PER MONTH
RETURN ON INVESTMENT: 8–10 YEARS WITH CURRENT ENERGY PRICES IN CROATIA
Annual increases in energy prices are not included, which means the real return on investment is even shorter.
7–8 YEARS WITH CURRENT PRICES IN THE EU
The construction of such a building is 35% more expensive than standard construction, but it quickly pays off due to the enormous savings in energy consumption.
